I am running PMS on a headless Ubuntu server and when I log in as the primary user on the account I can access the server from any computer in our home. But when I try to switch to one of the manage users i says it cannot find the media server. When I go to Windows File Explorer I have no problems accessing the Ubuntu file shares which includes the root director for all my library directories. In this article (https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/204604227) it says that if the Server tab does not show up under settings to load the “local” version of the Plex Web App on the server but since I am running a headless server I have no UI and only work with it through the command line using telnet (PuTTY in particular). Any suggestions on resolving this would be greatly appreciated!

The local version of the web manager is just the app version installed with the server. On your home network you can access it with your server IP:32400/web (ie 192.168.1.100:32400/web). It shouldn’t matter if you’re headless or not (I run my ubuntu server headless and have no issue accessing it via IP address or hostname)
I have that bookmarked on all of our PCs and everyone initially signs in with the same Plex account but when it asks to “Select User” then any managed users (which is all except my user) get the error that the server is unreachable.
