Been using (trying to use) Plex for several years. First to send movies to the livingroom TV. That usually works OK.
About a year ago, I finally figured out how to stream the music on my PC to my iPhone. That worked pretty well although managing the library and creating playlists was a bit of an exercise in frustration. But I thought I got it and last summer it worked fairly well.
Fast forward to this year and had issues getting the phone software to find my music. Then I installed PlexAmp and that seems to work better.
So now I’d like to update my music libraries. The won’t update. Oh…it acts like it working but then…nothing.
So can someone please point me to a page that might explain the proper procedure for setting up a library on your PC and THEN having PLEX be able to read it?
My music library is organized into many folders, all under one folder call “MUSIC”. (duh). SO then I have folders for Classic, Classic Rock, 50s, 60s, 70s, LAtin, etc. And within THOSE folders might be folders for each artist. And sometimes folders for each of their albums.
Originally, I was able to do this…over a year ago. I’ve added many songs since and now Plex isn’t cooperating.
It really should be much easier to do than all this, right?
