Managing Optimized Versions - Displays Only Last File of Batch

Server Version#: 1.18.1.1973
Player Version#: 4.8.3

Synopsis: After successfully optimizing movies, only the last conversion of the batch is “remembered” under Manage > Optimized Versions.

Steps:

  1. manually selected 5 AVI movies via the List View, and Optimise… (in this case, for mobile)
  2. movies are successfully queued and converted
  3. all 5 converted movies are found in the “Plex Versions” folder
  4. all 5 movies have “Delete Version” options when viewed individually
  5. only the last movie is displayed under Manage > Optimized Versions

I expected to see all 5 conversions listed. Is this a general bug, or do I have a localized error?

Thanks for any input or verification.

Solved my issue:

When viewing Manage > Optimized Versions,

Each line item represents the “batch” of movies processed.

So the item should read “MovieTitle1, MovieTitle2, and 3 other items”, but since my MovieTitle1 took up most of the space, I did not notice that the intent was to show the entire batch job.

Note deleting from this menu deletes all optimized versions for that batch.

In conclusion, the feature works as-intended, but perhaps could use a minor UI tweak to more clearly signify it may represent a batch of conversions. However, I completely understand it might just be my font/browser settings as well.

I appreciate Plex & forum members, thanks all!
