Greetings to all developers at Plex.
I am investigating on how I can use Plex for giving users access to my training videos. I have been considering in putting my training videos on the hosting platform from amazon.com, and making them available from withing a membership website.
But I see a great potential in using Plex. The procedure would be as following:
- register a user in CRM platform.
- run a daily internal script to check what members need to be activated or deactivated ( output to txt / API ?? )
- on Plex.tv : (based on the txt / API output from above) create new accounts, or delete/deactivate accounts
- add (or remove) the accounts from my "friends" list on my plex server, give access to training video folder
Has this been done before, and if not, is it be made possible to create/deactivate/remove accounts wth API?
