Manque des films ou episodes

Hello I created my libraries but there are some movies missing.
Example in the same files I have 3 lord of the rings movies but only one appears in plex and not the others even though they all have the same video format and same title format how to do?

How have you named / organized those files? If named in a way Plex cannot deal with, you might end up with all movies of that franchise being recognized as different versions of the same movie — if that’s the case, your library should have some duplicates; to verify you can filter the library by duplicates and see what files are actually associated with those items.

Edit:
Here’s an example that should be working with regards to the Lord of the Rings movies
(a) English example

Movies <- the folder linked to your movie library
The Lord of the Rings The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)
The Lord of the Rings The Fellowship of the Ring (2001).ext
The Lord of the Rings The Two Towers (2002)
The Lord of the Rings The Two Towers (2002).ext
The Lord of the Rings The Return of the King (2003)
The Lord of the Rings The Return of the King (2003).ext

Where .ext is the respective file extension; notice I’ve excluded the punctuation to avoid conflicts with the matching!

(b) French example (long form)

Ciné <- the folder linked to your movie library
Le Seigneur des Anneaux La Communauté de l'Anneau (2001)
Le Seigneur des Anneaux La Communauté de l'Anneau (2001).ext
Le Seigneur des Anneaux Les Deux Tours (2002)
Le Seigneur des Anneaux Les Deux Tours (2002).ext
Le Seigneur des Anneaux Le Retour du Roi (2003)
Le Seigneur des Anneaux Le Retour du Roi (2003).ext

(c) In theory Plex should also be able to deal with the short form of those titles as that’s officially listed on The Movie Database too:

Ciné <- the folder linked to your movie library
  La Communauté de l'Anneau (2001)
    La Communauté de l'Anneau (2001).ext
  Les Deux Tours (2002)
    Les Deux Tours (2002).ext
  Le Retour du Roi (2003)
    Le Retour du Roi (2003).ext

thank you for the answer
Efficiency when I filter by duplicate there is
How can I correct the problem?
Just go to my PC directory, rename the files as you indicated and restart a scan with plex?

Merci pour la réponse
Effectivement quand je filtre par doublon il y est
Comment faire pour corriger le problème ?
Juste aller dans mon répertoire PC renommer les fichiers comme tu m’as indiqué et relancer un scan avec plex ?

Other questions what is the .ext file?
Because me on my peak I don’t have that?
Do you see it on the pc or in plex?

Autres question c’est quoi le fichier .ext ?
Car moi sur mon pic j’ai pas ça ?
Tu le vois sur le pc ou dans plex ?

.ext is merely a placeholder for the actual file name extension of your video files. Since there can be different ones (e.g. .mkv, .avi, .mp4 etc.), the documentation uses .ext in their place

Renaming the files and rescanning the library should do the job. If it doesn’t you might need to perform a Plex Dance to make Plex forget it had already associated the files differently (if I remember correctly this should only apply for older agents)
