See my example below. PLEX seems to grab a transcoded washed out random frame from the clip which looks pretty awful. Now that PLEX supports tone mapping is there anyway to force this when adding extras for the thumbnail images? Perhaps it will come when scrubbing thumbnails gain tone mapping support? Would be nice if we could manipulate the image to begin with. Thanks!
