I’m having some issues where IMDB agent isn’t adding critic ratings to some older movies. I remember we used to be able to manually add critic ratings to a movie in the library, but now that feature is gone. Is there a new method for this or will this ability be added back in the future? Right now, it’s not optimal if I’m sorting movies by unplayed - critic rating and seeing a bunch of films that have no rating (even though IMDb has rating listed for it).
I don’t remember it was ever possible to manually edit/enter critic/audience ratings. You probably can overwrite it in the database but that information will be overwritten when the metadata is refreshed.
There’s a feature suggestion asking for an option to edit/set IMDb/Rotten Tomatoes/… ratings.
I believe it was because I remember having to add 7.5, 8.0, etc into a rating field. There were 4 fields after Title, Sort Title, Original Title. If I remember correctly, the 4 fields were:
- Originally Available
- Content Rating
- Rating
- and fields that now has 5 stars for rating was called something else
Maybe I’m remembering it wrong, but I thought that ability used to be there. I remember going to IMDb to look it up a movie rating where it was t displaying and adding it manually to the library.
I think you’re right… however that was before Plex distinguished between audience and critic ratings.
