Manually set the external/public hostname of my Plex server

Server Version#: 1.18.3.2129

If I connect my Synology router to a VPN, then the Plex Media Server on that NAS starts to advertise itself with the IP address of the VPN and of course it becomes inaccessible from outside my network.

Is it possible to manually specify the public hostname (not IP), instead of PMS trying to automatically detect it?

I see it’s possible to define a manual port (which I am not interested in), but not the hostname?
Is it possible in some config file?
