Some albums, but not all, when imported assign disc 1 to every track in the album except track 1. This happens even if there is only 1 disc in the album. You can’t tell right away in plex web but in plexamp (see below) the tracks appear separated which is very annoying.
This can be fixed by manually going into the track metadata in plex and assigning the first track a disc but since there are so many albums where this happens it’s quite labor intensive.
I have refreshed the metadata for these albums but the first track never gets a disc assigned. This happens seemingly randomly across my server and the bug has been going on for a very long time, maybe a year. It’s persisted across many different Plex versions.
