Muti disc album problems

Hello, I’m having a problem with multi disc albums in Plex. When I add an album with multi discs they’ll sometimes show as all being disc 1. Using Erasure’s 2020 Chorus re-release as an example, it shows as:

Disc 1

  1. Chorus
    1 . Over the Rainbow
    1 . Chorus (Live)

When it should actually be

Disc 1

  1. Chorus

Disc 2

  1. Over the rainbow

Disc 3

  1. Chorus (Live)

I tired to fix this by going into the edit function and moving all tracks into the correct discs e.g selecting over the rainbow and changing disc 1 to 2 however despite making sure the lock icon coloured orange, every time I do a library update it reverts back to the incorrect disc.

Any ideas on how to fix this? as it basically means I have to manual fix a disc every time I play on playing an album in it’s entirety in plexamp.

If Plex is not configured to prefer local metadata, it’s very important that your files are organized and named according to Plex’s recommendations:
