Mapped network drives not showing up

Server Version#:4.100.1
Player Version#
Since I had to upgrade to Win10 after Plex stop supporting Win7 after installing the new version of plex all my media files show unavailable and when I browse for the media folder to add them none of my mapped network drives are showing up at all. I have updated the Log on on Plex Update Services in the Service.msc app. I have disconnected and reconnected to all mapped network drives. I have uninstalled and installed Plex Media Server several times. Nothing it working. Any help would be appreciated. This is why I didn’t want to update to Win10

Doing a clean install of WIN10 now to see if there was something wonky that happened during the upgrade. If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them.

Not sure what you mean here.
Plex is not running as a system service by default.
If you force it to run as a service (only possible by using 3rd-party tools), then it won’t be able to use drive letters for network shares. Because a service doesn’t have a login script which takes care of reconnecting those drive letters. That happens only in a regular user session.
You need to use UNC paths to add server shares to a Plex library. e.g. \\machine\share\folder

Yeah I used UNC paths still it would not show the shared drives. I don’t really know what happened. I have used Plex forever (since it first came out). I think it’s definitely a windows thing

Can you view/play your files via an app like VLC player on the Plex server? Can you post your server logs?

Yes, the mapped drives showed up on the computer but not Plex and files would play. After a clean install of Win10 all is fine and working. As usual doing an OS upgrade just caused some issue with permissions or something causing Plex not to see mapped drives. But all is well now, except for the headache of adding all the media back to Plex and clicking “watched” lol.
