I have many albums with one or two songs that I dislike. I would like to keep all the songs intact but would like to mark them (e.g., with a rating) so that I can play the album but not the marked song(s). Any suggestions on how to do this?
you mean like in iTunes where you can enable/disable a song and tell it to only play enabled ones? From what I’ve seen there’s no such option in Plex.
You could set a mood or something similar yourself and exclude that one in a custom filtered playlist (filter the library with a custom filter – e.g base on that mood, make it a playlist – files without this mood should still be added to the playlist, files with this mood added should be removed). However at least Plex Web doesn’t allow the classic views for the audio tracks in this playlist, so you won’t be able to watch it by artist/album… just by track (bummer).
Not possible with Plex. The only possible way is to use the plexignore file so it doesn’t get scanned into your library.
