I have a TV library that spans multiple folders (of about 2TB each) of which one (let’s call it the working folder) receives new content and the remainder are finalised and will never have any further modifications.
Whenever new content is added to the working folder, the only way to get Plex to scan it is to scan all folders (which is time consuming). It would be very useful (and I imagine easy) to be able to mark a folder as ‘Finalised’ - i.e. retain all content in this folder but do not scan for new content. Either a checkbox next to each folder in the UI or a ‘.plexfinalised’ file placed in the root of the folder would work well I would imagine.
