Match by Filename and Year

Beauty and the Beast (1946).mp4
vs
Beauty and the Beast (2017).mp4

Both of these come up as B&B 2017, but in reality one is the 1946 version
Is there a way to name the files so it know the difference?
I tried adding the year as shown but it did not work.

I want to do it via the filename not rematch in case I change directories etc.

They both show up in TMDB and IMDB with only the year to differentiate them. I thought the new one might have been something weird like “disneys” Beauty and the Beast; but no.
Do you have the year in both the movie folder and the movie file? Other than that. I can’t think of anything.

…that was it, folder and the movie, no I only had it on one of the folders and movie(2017), but the Beauty and the Beast (1946) folder was simply Beauty_and_the_Beast, so when I changed it to Beauty and the Beast (1946) it worked. I assumed it was filename only. But I guess its both.
