I have a series I want to watch on my Nvidia Shield, but it looks like it’s not playing the file correctly. The same problem happens on PC, so it’s not device specific.
If I play the MP4 directly from Windows Explorer in VLC/Windows Media Player, it plays just fine. The files are fine. On Plex, it’s got the correct meta data, but it doesn’t play the file. It plays a different intro to the series, and when that intro is done, it goes to the next episode, where it only plays the intro and so on.
The original files are .MKV, so I’ve converted them to .MP4 via Handbrake. I’ve tried both NVENC H.264, 10 bit H.264 and regular H.264, but Plex won’t recognize the last 3 files so I haven’t been able to test them. The files I have tried are regular H.264
