To make matters even more confusing, I’ve started seeing the same behavior this past week (server, on QNAP x86_64, goes unresponsive, 503 trying to browse locally), and I haven’t upgraded in a while. I’m still on 1.18.2. Seems as if Plex might have changed something on their side that’s crashing servers on-prem.
Correct, problems started last week, even before upgrading. I though upgrading would help, buying Plex Pass would help, but unfortunately not.
Just to confirm my setup:
Mac mini late 2014 with Plex media server has been stable since I installed.
1.18.6.2368.
Streams are only IOS , iPad OS , TVOS. The consistent crashes have stopped. On my end it is a fix apparently.
How is your plex setup ? Running on NAS ? MAC ? Windows ? Linux ? What version ?
What behaviour are you experiencing ?
We have already resolved some of these. The logs you provided Plex Media Server Logs_2020-02-10_16-12-04.zip are from 1.18.5.2309-f5213a238 showing the issue that has already been fixed in 1.18.6.2368

Would like everyone with these hangs please update to 1.18.6.2368 and let me see logs after a restart following a hang. If there is a deadlock situation, would then ask for additional diagnostics - for list of connections (from GET /connections) request and process dump - but will only ask for that if the logs do show a deadlock
My Plex instance is stable again with the latest release. I was previously unable to making eight hours or so without a hang but no issues so far. Thanks!
