I’d like the ability to add metadata to items in my library so that it’s easier to ask Alexa to ask Plex to play something.
For example, my daughter would like to play the album “The Greatest Showman: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack”.
Currently we have to say “Alexa, ask Plex to play the album The Greatest Showman Original Motion Picture Soundtrack”.
It rarely works.
I would like the ability to edit the album’s metadata to give Alexa (or the Plex skill) a better chance of finding it, without messing anything else up.
In this instance I’d give the album a nickname like “Greatest Showman Soundtrack”, and then my daughter could say “Alexa, ask Plex to play the Greatest Showman Soundtrack”.
