Sometimes I’ll watch multiple episodes of a TV show on another streaming app like Hulu or Netflix, and then when I come back to Plex my ‘up next’ episode is a few episodes behind. Sometimes if a show disappears from Netflix altogether and I have to resort to Plex, I’ll have to go through entire seasons of the show marking them as ‘played’ in order for my “On Deck” section to show the right next episode.
It would be neat to have a function where I could tell Plex “This is the episode of this show that I’m up to” so it disregards all previous episodes as ‘played’ and just shows me the one I’m up to, instead of forcing me to manually mark all the other episodes as played.
There’s an existing feature suggestion to asking to allow manually adding items to on deck / continue watching (given you can already drop items from that hub).
I don’t think that’ll cover marking all episodes in between as watched too – though not sure that’s something you’re looking for
