I would like to do a bug report. After lots of investigating I can finally reproduce.
I have the option Merge Recently Added items ticked in Manage → Libraries section.
Let’s say I have three libraries:
- Movies → movie type
- Formula 1 → tv shows type but Plex Series Scanner
- TV Shows → tv shows type → Plex TV Series Scanner
All three libraries have the option set to be included on home screen and in search results.
When the Formula 1 library is ordered above the TV Shows library, the WHOLE recently added TV section will be hidden. Only when I move the TV Shows library above the Formula 1 in the order, it will show up again.
It doesn’t matter where the Movies library is ordered, this is always visible.

Hopefully this can be fixed. Not sure why this weird behaviour is happening, but it is happening for me already for a long time.
