Could be a case of bad file naming/organization or conflicting embedded metadata.

When you organize your files, make sure there’s no missing or extra folder levels!

No… those files aren’t particularly well named.

  1. if your library points at series, there’s an extra level of folders (cartoon); if you want to keep that folder, make sure your library points at series/cartoon/

  2. season folder should be named Season XX (where XX is the 2-digit season number; no translated/localized versions)

  3. episode files should use the following schema:
    <show name> - sXXeYY - <optional episode title>.ext
    e.g. Miraculous Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir/Season 03/Miraculous Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir - s03e02 - Syren.m4v

Side note: Plex ignores content in square brackets, so Plex won’t know that the above file should be episode 2 of season 3.
