Metadata issue with Brian Cox's Adventures in Space and Time

The Plex scanner is the recommended modern version which does not appear to be utilising the same source data as either TMDB or TVDB. All four episodes and the TV Show itself are all affected within the Plex Media Server.

Some of the metadata appears to be fine. For example the TMDB score is correct and the TV Show’s description is correct, but everything is incorrect.

Hmm. Looks like we picked up this incorrect TVDB entry Brian Cox: Space, Time & Videotape - TheTVDB.com.

if you set the show to use TMDB episode order it gets the episode info correct though.

I’ll let metadata team know it is using a bad TVDB entry.

Having a quick look I can see that Brian Cox: Space, Time & Videotape - TheTVDB.com (Brian Cox: Space, Time & Videotape) has a incorrect imdb link to Brian Cox's Adventures in Space and Time (TV Mini Series 2021) - IMDb (Brian Cox’s Adventures in Space and Time) which is most likely messing things up.

I’ve gone and removed that link and added it to the correct Brian Cox's Adventures in Space and Time - TheTVDB.com (Brian Cox’s Adventures in Space and Time) entry.

Over at tmdb I’ve also added episode level external ids from tmdb → tvdb. Changes will take between 48/72 hours to replicate to plex so hopefully between that and the plex metadata team it’ll sort it out.
