I am attempting to transfer my metadata from an old Ubuntu server to my new Unraid server but I cannot write to the appdata folder that I have to add the metadata to. I am unable to write to the folder and need a way to add my metadata back to the system. I have been stumped on this issue now for a while and the documentation I have been able to find has not been very helpful.
Sounds like a basic permission issue on your Unraid system.
Do you have sufficient permissions to write the data to that folder?
I have permissions for the share but I guess I don’t for the folder. I have messed with Linux permissions in the past but am unfamiliar with how I would go about this on unraid
