Really struggling with getting ratings into my library. The standard percentages that show up are pretty useless as per the post about The Movie Database not being a good source for ratings

I changed my agent to use Rotten Tomatoes for ratings however there’s no easy way to update movies. The only thing that seems to work is opening a movie, selecting Fix Match and then selecting Auto Match using Plex Movie. Even then it’s hit and miss if it brings back the right info

The following have no effect

  • Refresh Metadata at a film level
  • Refresh All Metadata at a library level
  • Fix Match and then select the right film

I can’t believe that I have to open each movie individually, select Fix Match then pick Auto Match > Plex Movie in order to update the ratings, surely there’s an efficient way to do this? I never had any problems with Kodi or other platforms in simply updating a library

I’m running my server on an nvidia shield so options to move files around, etc are very limited. I’ve also got a backup running on my main desktop PC but it has the same issues. Any help appreciated

Hi there im not sure if this helps but i use my serer on my computer and i use the options on the library side analyze, refresh all ect.

this works for me anyway. hope this helps :confused:
