Migrating from PMS on Mac to NAS

I’ve searched but can’t find much… I’m thinking about swapping out my system from an aged Synology to the new 918+ as it seems to be able to handle being the PMS and then feeding to my AppleTV devices (at the moment I have an older DS412+ as storage and PMS running on a Mac Mini that was acting as a Media Player too)

I understand this to be:

A. Existing is PMS on Mac
B. Media is on DS412+
C. New machine will be a DS918+ housing PMS and media
D. The players will remain the same.

Is this correct? If not, please correct me

Also, please let me know which version of
