Migrating Plex Metadata results in Missing Collections/Playlist/Fixed Matches/Selected Artwork

From: Synology DSM 7.2
Server Version#: 1.41.3.9292
Player Version#: N/A

To: Docker (TrueNAS scale 24.10)
Server Version#: 1.1.10
Player Version#: N/A

I am migrating from Synology to TrueNAS I moved over my “Metadata” folder and validated the new Metadata file permissions:

cp -rp [Source] [Destination]
chown -R apps:apps “/mnt/pool1/apps/plex/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Metadata/“

But when I open the new server, looks like files I had previously ran “Fix Match” on in my old server still need to be fixed on my new server, and most importantly Collections and playlist that I created do not show up either. And before anyone ask, yes I stopped the server prior to making the copy of my “Plex Media Folder” and “Metadata” folder.

<If providing server logs please do NOT turn on verbose logging, only debug logging should be enabled>

the Metadata folder is just a tiny subset of your server data directory.
Most of the information you’re referring at are stored in the server’s database and that’s not in the metadata folder.

Please use this support article as for which folders/data to be transferred when migrating your server to a different installation.
