I have a very old Plex Media Server instance (Version 1.3.3.3148), and am upgrading to the latest version. I’m running as a Jail on FreeNAS if that makes a difference. I’ve got a bunch of home movies, and a load of TV that I’ve ripped and am part way through watching.
What do I need to copy across to the new FreeNAS jail to ensure that I’ve got all the meta data from my home movies and the state information for the TV seasons?

The database has undergone some changes since that old version. You would not be the first to hose a database due to jumping several versions… Personally, I would bite the bullet and just try and export the viewstate to a brand new installation (and database) - https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/201154527-Move-Viewstate-Ratings-from-One-Install-to-Another
