Migrating from one account to another

Hi guys, I am a long time plex pass user and my yearly subscription is up for renewal soon. I would love to upgrade to the Lifetime Pass (currently on offer for new users) but Plex doesn’t allow existing users to use the discount. I am wondering if I made a new account, is there an easy way to transfer everything over (meta data, watched status etc) to the new account?

You will have to re-invite your shared users. (if you have any)
After the migration you can delete your old account. After 30 days, the email address associated with this old account will be “freed”. Then you can switch your new account to the old email address.

Seems like a lot of hassle to make their customers go through just for them to stay a life-long user :-/
