Minimize player button minimizes the whole window in OSX and Windows

This is just a player issue, on Windows and Mac. When I set the player to be full screen by clicking “enter full screen” (double arrows) button and then, while watching a video, click the down arrow at the top left to minimize just the video, the whole window exits the full screen mode. The minimize video button shouldn’t force the whole app to exit full screen mode.

I’m experience the same issue as luthan. Not the worst thing in the world but every time I minimize, I’m forced to re-maximize. Is there a way around this?

I experience the same issue.
Minimize player should just hide the current content not exit full-screen

Plex developers are useless. Just reading through these forums is enough to gauge just how unresponsive and incompetent they are. I already moved away from this platform, and am really glad I only did month-to-month plex pass membership. The reported issue is most likely a very simple fix, as it is simply changing the behavior of one button, and they can’t be bothered. To me, that is unacceptable for a paid product.

I am using Mac, with a Plex Pass account, and I have the exact same annoying issue.

PLEASE, DEVELOPERS, fix this issue, that seems to be as so simple!
