Minix NEO U1 Android TV Playback Issues

Hi,

I have been using the Minix Neo U1 for the last 4 years, generally been working OK. My main use for this device is to be able to play media from my plex server (nas).

Just so you know my Minix has the latest firmware and version of Plex app from play store, my Plex media server is updated to the latest version.

About 3 months ago whenever I play a video only the audio plays, no picture (just a black screen). I have been waiting on an update that fixes this but nothing as of yet. I am not sure what it is as it can’t be the format of the videos as all videos do not work, even ones that I have previously played. This problem only exsists on my Minix Neo U1. My PS4, tablet and mobile all work fine.

You have to provide logs from client and server and additionally xml info for a file that doesn’t play, otherwise help is not possible

Problems like this might have to do with the new player of the android app. And there are other reports with china boxes that didn’t behave as they should.
