I’m noticing on the Plex app for android, that some album covers are not showing or showing grey rather. Its only a few and it seems random. If I refresh the list in the app some come back but something else will disappear (go grey).
I don’t see this problem via browser or Plex on Samsung smart TV.
Mobile is a Samsung Note 8, Android 9.
Is this a know issue or is there something I should check in my library.
Note I’m only connecting manually to my Plex server at home-not going through the internet.
I experienced something similar to your situation. I am running the same Android app version as you. When I first open the app, all the cover art is displayed fine, however after closing and reopening the app, some of the art disappears and slowly comes back on some of the albums.
I have tried a workaround solution which was to disable the Automatic Manage Home Screen and changed it to Manual, so far I have not seen the album cover art disappear, touch wood.
Try that if you haven’t yet and let me know if it works for you, I am curious to find out!
