Missing Option Sign in Automatically

On my Fire Tablet I have the latest version of Plex installed. The user logged in has its own email login but its a managed user under my Plex Pass. I have several users listed all with PIN’s I have one user there without a PIN for kids with limited content.

However I sign in I am missing the option to Sign in Automatically. I checked settings and there is no Account tab with no option to check. I want the app when it loads to auto login into the user Kids.

How can I do this?

Turn it on under your account settings then switch to them. When that settings is on under any account it will auto sign in to the last account used.

The problem is the option that is normally there under settings is not there…

You don’t see it even when in your account on device?

Correct it’s not there at all on the app for the Fire Tablet

If you actually sign out then back in as yourself without switching to someone else first does it show?

If there is no “account” page within the settings menu, I would suggest an uninstall and reinstall of the FireTab’s Plex app.

As I can see it in all of my accounts as Plex on this tab is logged in under my Guest account automatically(Home control panel for smart house)… I will verify this when I get home this evening(as I have not checked these settings after the last couple updates).

Ok this is what I found on the Fire Tab(running 6.7.1.2498)

  1. Sign in as a regular Home user… no page for account in settings(probably due to the account not really being an account) so no way to set sign in automatically.
  2. Sign in on a Plex account that has been added to your Home(Guest account mentioned above, which is why it was working)… Boom! account page is in the settings, so you can sign in automatically.

P.S. This is the same on my android phone(running 6.9.0.2683).

Probably the intended behavior.

Kinda makes sense to me. BUT… I agree that being able to sign in automatically on a Home user account would be useful as well.

yes that is how it should work but he is the admin and when signed in as himself it should show, he says it is not.

I Missed that part.
