I’m in the process of cutting the cord, and the new LiveTV and DVR capabilities brought me to try Plex and become a Plex Pass subscriber. Overall things seem to be working well. I am however, seeing a couple of problems, and I would appreciate any suggestions.

I wanted to set up a recording for the new CBS show ‘Young Sheldon’ (a prequel/spin-off of The Big Bang Theory) which launched yesterday. However, no matter how many times I updated the program guide, the show simply did not exist as an option to watch or record. It still does not show up for me. Has anyone else seen this problem?

I had setup Plex to record new episodes of The Big Bang Theory last week. It showed that it was scheduled to record the season debut yesterday, but mysteriously recorded nothing. It still shows up as a series recording and indicates it’s set to record next week’s episode, but no information about the previous episode. I have other “series” recordings (e.g. NFL football) which are working fine. Any idea how to debug this issue?
