Some tv shows (especially in anime) have movies between series that you must watch in order to understand the storyline. An example is Made in Abyss. After season 1, you must watch movie 3 in order to follow the storyline. The same goes for Psycho-Pass (that has 7 movies to be seen among normal series) or My Hero Academia and even Demon Slayer.
I think that a proper collection of such kind of tv show should allow movies to be added as well and placed in the correct order you are expected to view them
The way this works today is to add the movies as episodes in Season 00 (also called the ‘Specials’ season.)
Since every matched item will get the proper release date, the movie will automatically appear in “Continue Watching” on your home page, as soon as you have watched the laste episode of season 1.
As per Otto’s response – those tv-show movies are usually specials and can be added as such.
If you’re looking for content beyond those specials you can comment/vote in the existing feature suggestion asking for that exact feature (e.g. to avoid distracting/dispersing votes by having multiple suggestions on the same topic).
Therefore closing this thread as you (a) can already handle specials and (b) there’s already an existing suggestion with the exact same scope.
