MK3d Files [ Solved ]

When will the be added to the list of files types supported ? I have to add it to the list in the scanner files manually every time plex updates. It would be good to not have to do this every time.

I honestly doubt it will ever be added at this point but since they’re really just MKV files you can change the extension to MKV without any issues (suggest adding 3D SBS/MVC/etc in the file name if it’s not there already)

How do you change them to mkv? I can’t seem to figure that out.

Nevermind i’m a dummy, I figured it out. i just changed the type to mkv like you said.

For those still stuck on this.

  1. click on “this pc” in file explorer
  2. go to file --> change folder and search option–> view
  3. Un-check " hide extensions for known file types"
  4. Go to you movie that is mk3d, at the end, you should now see that it says .mk3d
  5. Delete mk3d make sure the last thing it says is .mkv (or whatever file type you need to change it to)
  6. Scan Plex library. It should be good now.
