Hi all, I’ve spent a long time searching the forums but can’t find a sticky on fixing mobile sync (please let me know if there is one!). I had mobile sync working fine up until about 2 months ago and now it’s not working on any of my devices. Have tried upgrading plex server (currently 1.3.0.3059 on QNAP TS-451+) and have the latest iOS app on my ipad and iphone. Simply get the waiting or pending messages. Please help!

Looked everywhere where to post this question…
I’m trying to fling media (music) sync’d to my mobile device over to my Pi3 PMP device sitting on the same Wifi network. I can display my media on the mobile, I can link to the Pi’s PMP instance via the linking icon but as soon as I start playing from my mobile’s locally stored (sync’d) media, the app errors out with “unable to connect to PlexMediaPlayer.” However, when I use the mobile to cast over media that’s stored/streamed remotely (via Internet) from my Plex server (Linux Lubuntu), the flung media plays fine on the Pi3.
The goal is to be able to sync some media to my mobile and play (fling) it over via a WiFi hotspot router to the Pi3 PMP when I don’t have Internet connectivity. Am I missing something?
Version info:
Server OS: Linux 4.4.0-57-generic Lubuntu x86_64
PMS: 1.3.3.3148
PMP on Raspberry Pi 3B: 1.2.2

What you describe is a totally different issue. Can you start a new topic with your question? Also include the type of mobile device. I have some ideas but don’t want to tie up this thread.
