Plex Server won't download/sync to phone

Syncing has worked flawlessly for years and now I’m getting ‘Waiting to download’ on my Plex 3 XL phone at 50%. Sync Status on my Plex server shows the note ‘Waiting to be downloaded’.

After clicking Sync it goes through the converting process and then when it’s time to actually download it freezes with the ‘Waiting to download’ message.

Under STATUS, the Conversions tab is empty and the Sync tab shows items waiting to be downloaded.

I’ve reinstalled Plex to my phone, removed my Pixel 3 XL from authorized devices, restarted my Plex server. Currently running Plex Media server version 1.18.4.2171 on my FreeNAS box.

Does anyone have any ideas on what might be going on?

Does anyone here sync to a mobile device?

PMS version#: 1.18.3.2129
Android mobile version#: 7.27.0.15018

Sync working fine for me for the Plex client on Pixel 3XL. I’m also running Plex on a FreeNAS box, but I’m using the latest plugin version available. You must have installed Plex manually in an iocage jail as you’re a version ahead of me. That shouldn’t make a difference.

I’ll report back when a later PMS plugin is available to me. If you find a fix before then let me know.

I’m assuming you have enough storage on the phone for sync?

Can anyone from Plex comment on this?

I just donwloaded PMS version 1.18.6.2368 and now syncing to my phone works again!

I can’t seem to delete synced items from my phone but I can deleted them from the web Status > Sync menu. If I try to delete a synced item from my phone Plex resets and I have to relog in by entering my user PIN.

I did DL the latest Plex app to my phone, 7.27.1.15203.
