Mobile Sync: Updating Full Music Library Sync with newly added Songs / Albums

Hello All

I am new to Plex Pass and Mobile Sync and have a question.

I will be purchasing a new Android Phone (Samsung Galaxy S8+) in the next month or so and have been looking at Mobile Sync so that I can have my Music Library on my Phone.

One thing that I have not found an answer to is how to Update the Initial Music Library Sync so that any new Songs / Albums can be Synced to the Phone.

Could someone please clarify this procedure for me?

Also, could it be automated, so for example the new Songs / Albums are automatically Synced to the Phone once the Phone is connected to the same Network as my Plex Server?

You can define a ‘Custom Filter’ in your music library. You can then Sync the result of this filter to your phone. It will be updated automatically when new items are added to your library (and others are deleted).

For instance, I have the newest albums automatically synced to my phone.
(I am restricting it to max. 300 tracks to not fill up my phone storage to the maximum.)

This is one of the automatic Sync rules I have.

You can Sync your favorite albums and tracks manually on top of that
or you can have other such automatic rules, like “all tracks from Artist X” or “all tracks with rating 5 stars” etc.

One additional question, if you do not mind.

I tried a Custom Filter and whilst I can see how it works for Albums, there is one issue.

I have a Custom Album where I add individual Songs that do not belong to their own Album which currently has 177 Tracks.

How would I Filter to add New Tracks to Sync added to this Custom Album?

Also, would it be possible to Filter by ‘Added since Last Sync’ ?
