Server Version#: I don’t know how to look this up

So I’ve installed Plex on my pocket Android computer (people call them “phones” but get annoyed if you actually call them). I logged into my account and can see all my music.
What I really want is to have my whole music collection (on server Nugget) to sync to my pocket computer, since it has enough capacity. And I’d like the collection to stay sync’ed automatically as I add new music to Nugget. Can this be done?
You may ask, “why not just stream it?” A reasonable question, but I’d like to do this my way if I can.
If I remember correctly there used to be a Sync/Download option on the library level of the mobile apps (in the library context menu: ...). I cannot currently find that… you should however create a smart playlist that contains all music and sync that. I believe Plexamp will even create such a smart All Music playlist automatically.
I think something might be happening, but it isn’t clear. Having pressed the “down arrow” button at the top of my library I’m starting to see that down icon appearing on some albums. Is that hopeful? I’m still not sure if new music added to the server will automatically download.
That’s the one. So it seems this is only gone from the iOS client.
As for how to create a smart playlist:
When watching your library in Plex Web you’ll find an option called Advanced Filter in the filter section (by default that’s e.g. the All in the All > Movies > By Title section at the top of the library). With the advanced filter you can apply various restrictions and subsequently save that resulting filtered version of your library as a smart playlist.
If you want to create a smart collection that contains all items of your library (incl. future additions), you can e.g. use a filter like Release Date>1900.
Well, I’ve let a day go by, and I’m still seeing only some of my albums showing the “download” icon on them. I’ve gone into individual albums and hit the download button, and in some cases Plex tells me the album is queued to download, other times not. It doesn’t seem to get me the downloaded icon on it, at least after 12 hours. Can anyone tell me if I’m doing this right?
