How to Sync entire Plex Library

Hello all,

I use Plex a fair bit on my phone, however at times signal can be patchy which leads to buffering and delayed playback. What I am looking to do is to sync my entire music library through Plex onto my phone while on my home network. My question is, how do you go about syncing an entire library onto your phone via the Plex Android App ?

I can sync a track at once but that would take me forever, so I am hoping there is a better solution.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Kim

The feature is not really built to handle a whole library at once.

How many tracks are in your library?
How many free space is on your Plex data folder location?

If you are trying to sync too many tracks at once, it will overload your server
or fill up your hard disk.
Plus, all tracks may simply not fit onto your phone.

Sync is much more conveniently triggered from the web app. It allows you not only to sync single tracks but also whole albums or all tracks by an artist.
And other, more elaborate selections.

Hello again,

Thanks for you suggestion regarding the Web App, I did not realise I could direct a sync to a particular device, I thought it hasd to be initiated on the device in particular you wanted to sync content to. I have gone to my music library and there is indeed a drop down that lets you sync an enitre library which is what I am doing currently and seems to be going well.

Overloading my server is not a concern as it is more than capable of the task and my phones internal storage without SD is a 128GB so it should fit on just fine in my case

Thanks for your help, if I have any more issues I will be sure to ask.
