Is there a way to go back to go back to the old side menu in the moble app? The new one takes way too many click to get to the playlists and when you get there it will only play if you start at the top of the line up

I’m with you—this redesigned mobile app is absolutely infuriating. The fact that I now have to click through so many screens just to reach a playlist is maddening, and when I finally get there, it only plays if I start from the top. As someone who relied on playlists for seamless background listening, it’s a colossal downgrade—slow, unintuitive, and completely ruins the experience I had loved. This isn’t just inconvenient—it’s broken functionality, and it’s beyond disappointing.

I was hoping that someone at Plex would see and respond to this, but apparently they don’t care or it should be in the glitch section. What bothers me is that they seem to not want us to host our own content anymore

Configuring audio playlist folders to accurately in Plex (Mac) and Plexamp (ios) seems next to impossible. In folder view, the titles display perfectly on the Mac app (the great old app). On the IOS Plexamp, the same folder has identical names for every file in the folder. Since many of these files are multi-part radio dramas, I have no idea which story I am selecting or whether the files will play in the proper sequence. Separating one app that played all my media files into two apps that cannot even display file names properly makes no sense. At the very least it would be useful to let us download and use the old Plex app on IOS - which worked- and let the developers keep working on the new apps - that can’t even properly display file names. On a related note, I tried downloading a few files to take on a trip; however, the interface for accessing them was impossible. I ended up using VLC which let me see the file names and play the items in order.
