Mood and Smart Playlist

I have been keen to try both of these.
When I try to use mood the screen just cycles and there is never a list (there are 20,000 tracks).
When I try to create a smart playlist on either track or album I get no menu option.
Am I doing something wrong?

Please describe what you mean by ‘screen cycle’.

The principal way to make a smart playlist I wrote down here:
smart playlist
The only difference for music is, that you first switch your music library into the ‘track’ view and then open the ‘filter’ dialog.

Hi,
Thanks. By cycling I mean that there is a spinning wheel like a cycles, indicating it’s working.
It now seems to have delivered and I can do a smart selection.

Actually it still seems rather odd. I can create a playlist by mood. I don’t seem to be able to open it unless I create a new playlist and then I see the list of previous playlists.
I notice that if you select a tract a playlist is automatically created. I don’t see a way of saving this if I like it. Is this possible?

I am not sure I understand you completely.
Once you have selected the ‘mood’ on the left side, you must NOT click on any audio track on the right side of the window. Just go to the ‘AddtoPlaylist’ icon on the outer left border of the screen and click on it. Type in a new name for your smart playlist. You can NOT add this mood filter to an existing playlist.

Thanks, but my problem is not creating the playlist, but getting access to it. I don’t seem to find a ‘playlist’ button/link.

Please tell which Plex app you use and on which platform.
