Suggestion: Have more options under the ‘Conversions’ Status Tab for pausing, such as a “Pause while content is being played” or even a simple “Pause for x time” option. My server runs off a 3rd Gen Core i7 that just doesn’t have the chops to be creating a n optimized version in the background while playing other video content, even direct stream.
Current Workaround: I can only run conversions overnight while neither myself or any of my other users are streaming any content from the server, and remember to pause it again in the morning before leaving for work.
Having a feature like this would make for a much more convenient handling of conversion activity for those of us with lower-specced hard ware in their server.
