Since Plex already detects certain codecs like Dolby, THX, Atmos, etc. in movies it would be great if this could be expanded upon.
The only settings for pre-roll are currently the amount of trailers, and custom videos. There is no way however to control which custom videos would be shown for which movies.
It would be nice to have the option to assign a video to a codec and enable/disable each of these from a list in the pre-roll settings (as well as change the order which should be played first if multiple codecs match a movie).
A great example for this would be the Emby server, which already has similar functionality implemented (you just need to name a video file to the codec name in a specific directory, and it will auto-detect).
