I love plex and the improvements that have taken place since I became a user, and there’s one feature I love, it’s the option to create my own pre-roll to play before each movie starts, but I think there’s a huge improvement that could be made and I don’t think it would be difficult to implement, but I could be wrong.
So i created my own intro video which consists of a Pearl and Dean ident, a Dolby Ident and then BBFC Cert card which I made in final cut, it’s great and I like how it functions, but I would like to change the pre roll on every movie, I can have the actual pre roll for that movie before it plays, so if I was going to watch scream for example, I’d have it play something like this
I wondered if it would be possible to implement this in the EDIT Movie section, so when you choose your artwork, and edit the details of your films.
You have General, Tags, Sharing, Poster, Background, Info, Advanced, could a Pre Roll option be added to this menu, so you can have a different pre roll for each movie if you wish?
But you can have the same pre roll enabled for all with a default pre roll in the main setup, it’d be nice to have both options.
A request for the same feature exists already, and it has more votes.
