Plex HTPC uses the “10-foot UI” of the Plex for Smart TV apps. TVs very rarely have pointer devices. Hence the lack for mouse support in this user interface.
It is optimized for control by keyboard / classic TV remote control.
If you want a GUI with mouse support, use “Plex for Windows/Mac/linux” instead of Plex HTPC.
