I am currently running Plex server on my WD MyCloudEX2Ultra. My movie files are also on the same WD device. I would like to move just the Plex server to a Windows 10 device and leave the movie files on the WD. Is there a way to do that?
Yes. That’s actually the best way in my opinion. You can follow their migration guide and just have to be very careful when following the part where you add the new path (drive mounted on windows) and remove the old one (/shares…)
