Changing out Plex seerver

Going to replace plex server from windows 10 server to windows 11 server. Have backed up the
c:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server to a remote disk drive. Would restoring the c:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server to the new server and then installing the plex server software over the top on new server be the way to do this with the minimal amount of impact? Thank you.

Moving the server data directory is one step.
You also need to consider some of the options in the Windows Registry.
