Move PMS: Mac->OMV

I’ve been running PMS on a Mac Mini for some time now with no problems, but want to transfer to a dedicated media server running OpenMediaVault, which is of course based on Debian linux and I intend to install PMS Debian directly rather than as OMV plug-in or Docker. It would be extremely helpful to have answers to a couple of questions before I start the transfer:-

The paths to the data directories will be exactly the same as they were on the Mac. Can I assume the new PMS on OMV will immediately see and use all the data without any further shenanigans?

I believe that instead of the Mac’s plist preferences file, PMS on linux uses an XML config file (in its database directory?). Is there any way to convert the former to the latter and maintain all those settings? Obviously I can convert the plist to XML (originally a binary plist) but will that be an XML config file PMS linux can use? Or can I simply edit the XML to suit and in which case how, what changes would be required?

Are there ANY other ‘settings’ stored on the Mac that I can take to OMV in order to duplicate the setup and operation of PMS?

Ideally, I want to move all PMS settings, prefs, config to OMV so that when it first starts, it will be setup EXACTLY the same as on the Mac. So I’m trying to figure what I need to do to facilitate that - or at least get as close to it as possible. Hoping for some advice here.
