Recently the movie detail screen has been jumping the focus back to the top while using the page. For example. If you are scrolling through ‘related movies’ the page just refreshes, staying on the same movie but focus ends up on play or resume. You need to navigate back down to the related movies list and continue. Then the focus will jump back to the top. Over and over. Any idea why it keeps doing that and how to stop it?
I am seeing this with music as well. Very discombobulating.
Generally, I have assumed it was happening because the server was scanning the libary and finding things to do. (It was almost certainly at the time.) But my assumption may be incorrect.
Does the same thing when scrolling through the row of cast members. Very annoying.
Happens on both of my Android clients (Fire Stick and Nvidia Shield).
To be sure, it has nothing to do with the remote battery. The same problem occurs if I’m using the Shield or Fire Stick remote app on the phone.

I can’t recall where I read this from but someone discovered that this bug happens for profiles with a Plex Pass. I am experiencing the same thing on my a Android devices and confirmed when navigating on a different profile (non-Plex Pass), the bug was gone.
If you get the following screen pictured… your in for a workout..
Only way I found to fix this is to… reboot the firestick, remove plex app and clear the data. power cycle the firestick, reinstall the app, link the app to the correct user (this is a real pain, I have 5 TV’s with fire sticks.. then hope it doesn’t happen again.
It take 2 to 2,5 hours for me to get it all done.
This time it happened scrolling through TV Series..
This messed up navigation on the fire stick needs real work.
In the middle of a show it will jump to recommended, totally useless..
Hitting that button in the middle of the screen does nothing,
There is another screen that will cause grief but nothing like this one…
