Movie details screen doesn't show up on Android

When accessing a movie on a server through the Android app, the movie details screen fails to show up and I get the “Uh Oh… Something’s Not Right” screen with an option to retry or go back. Retrying very rarely works (I can try 10 times without success).

On the same Android device in the browser on the same WiFi or cellular network (doesn’t matter) - there’s no issue. The movie details screen immediately comes up.

Tried to look at the Android app logs - can’t see anything there. Don’t have access to the server logs.

Yeah, I don’t think it’s a consistent issue. I’ve been experiencing it for a while, but sometimes everything works fine.:man_shrugging:

The app might be having issues with an image. Try clearing the app cache which should clear out the images and grab new ones.

Thanks a lot, @MovieFan. I tried clearing cache, as well as removing and reinstalling the app. Nothing helped.

Then it could be an issue with the image your server is providing. You can try clearing the cache there.

Alternatively it could be a database issue. Client and server logs may reveal the issue.
